"If the ovaries are removed at the time of hysterectomy, vaginal dryness may be a problem during sexual intercourse. Vaginal dryness can be helped with the use of estrogen cream."
Can about it more?

Well, when you think about it, what we are told as girls is that when we start our periods, we are "becoming a woman." Logically, then, not having periods anymore, or not having the internal organs that allow for the carrying and bearing of children, must mean that we are either no longer women, or that we must be "less" womanly.

What we need to remember is that we are essentially women - an organ or two, more or less, is only that: an organ or two, more or less. Our identity as women is written in our DNA - unchangeable, mysterious, and essential. Women have 2 X chromosomes; men have an X and a Y. Therefore, the mystery and beauty that is woman is etched in our mitochondria - losing an organ or two won't change that.
